Yesterday, we toured all our white grape parcels to see when we will start harvesting

It won't be before the middle of next week. At Cazebonne, we prefer to harvest fully ripe. We prefer our whites to taste of the grape, to be crisp and crunchy, and less focused on aromatics, on thiols.
The harvest is going to be meagre, very meagre. Frost struck, taking a particularly severe toll on the whites.
On the other hand, the grapes taste wonderful; we should have more balance and more freshness than last year. And the berries are already very aromatic! We should be able to produce some very lovely single-parcel cuvées!
