The blend of our Comme en 1900 cuvée varies from year to year, as we are committed to offering you the best of old grape varieties in this iconic estate cuvée. This year, Mancin will serve as the backbone with its floral and spicy notes, and silky, soft tannins. We will add a batch of Saint-Macaire, harvested on September 26th, which will provide structure and will continue to refine over the coming months of ageing.

Aged in 500-litre barrels and amphorae.

2022 Vintage: 92/100 in the Revue du Vin de France (April 2024 issue) 'An original and extravagant note of pot-pourri, cinnamon, peach. A blend of ancient grape varieties: Mancin, Castets, Bouchalès, Saint-Macaire, and Jurançon Noir, this 2022 has a direct relationship with fruit, but it's hard to imagine such an expression of wine in Bordeaux. A balance between concentration and striking linearity, a touch impactful.'

2021 Vintage:

Favourite pick by the Guide des Vins en France (100% Biodynamie) 2024 'Mancin, Castets, Bouchalès, Saint-Macaire, and Jurançon Noir, an explosion of ancient grape varieties! A wine with zest and life. Slightly closed on the nose, it already has a silky texture. A youngster that will delight you in the years to come. A huge bravo!'

94/100 in the Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2023 by the RVF 'Comme en 1900, a blend of historical grape varieties, a dark, elegant, vibrant wine, with deep fruit, evoking blueberry and blackcurrant, with a strong floral element, which gives it great appeal.
