Sauvignon en amphore 2022

100% Sauvignon from our magnificent Peyron plot, harvested at two different maturities: a first batch at optimal ripeness for freshness, a second slightly riper.

Hand-picked and destemmed grapes, and fermentation in sandstone amphorae.

Matured without sulphur for 12 months in amphora. Light sulphiting with volcanic sulphur before bottling.

A white wine of great complexity, with length, and lovely bitter notes on the finish. A wine to convert all those who engage in Bordeaux bashing.

Magnificent sunny vintage. A brilliant vintage with great potential for bottle ageing.

2020 sold out very quickly. 2022 is likely to follow suit!
