An exception to the rule

Our single-vineyard wines bear the mention Bordeaux de lieu instead of Grand Vin de Bordeaux.
However, as our single-vineyard Galets de Cazebonne is a macerated white wine, we preferred not to submit it to the approval tasting to claim the Graves appellation.
We therefore declassified it to Vin de France. And as a Vin de France can claim neither the term Château nor the name Bordeaux, it will be a Vin de Lieu and simply a Vin de Cazebonne.
Tasted again yesterday, this bottle is magnificent. It's decided: we will make a maceration wine every year!
