Here, we explore the quintessence of the Bordeaux tradition. A white and a red wine, distinguished and crafted with the utmost care in 500-litre oak barrels, with a proportion of new barrels each year.
For the whites, we focus on the ripeness of the grapes; for the reds, on elegance and gentle extractions for incredibly fine tannins.

In his book "Bordeaux, une histoire de cépages" (Éditions BBD), Jean-Baptiste Duquesne reveals that many once-common varieties have gradually disappeared. At Cazebonne, we are committed to reviving these dormant treasures, such as Béquignol, Saint-Macaire, Pardotte, and Blanc Auba, to name but a few. These cuvées, made from rare grape varieties or those historically cultivated in the region, promise unique flavours, surprising aromas, and a gateway to the winemaking past of Bordeaux. They are an invitation to urgently rediscover forgotten tastes and explore an unsuspected aromatic richness. This exploration of forgotten grape varieties is part of our overall approach to biodiversity.
