Back to our roots
What a pleasure to welcome Éric Dugardin to Cazebonne this afternoon.
In 1991, we founded Dionysos Edhec in Lille, the school's oenology club, along with my classmates Pierre Garreau, Nicolas Flesselles, David Flory and Patrick Barré.
For three years, Éric, then a passionate and engaging young sommelier, guided us and shared some of his knowledge.
It was as a result of this that I decided to pursue a career in wine.
30 years later, what a joy to welcome Éric to Cazebonne to show him what we are doing to rediscover the forgotten grape varieties of Bordeaux.
Without Éric, I would never have ventured into wine. Who knows what turn my life might have taken.
