Comparative tasting of two classics from the Cahors appellation based on the Malbec grape variety

Cosse-Maisonneuve and Mas del Périé.
Little to no oak on the second, a vanilla oak profile on the Cosse-Maisonneuve. Lovely balance on both; the alcohol exceeding 14% ABV is in no way intrusive, as both bottles retain great freshness.
Two very engaging bottles in any case!
