On Friday, we welcomed a team of 40 researchers from the Institut des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin (ISVV) to Cazebonne to discuss our projects to replant all of Bordeaux’s historical grape varieties. A tour of our plots and a tasting of three cuvées.
Nicolas Jamin also presented our approach in the vineyard (biodynamics) and in the cellar.
Bordeaux boasts a wonderful ampelographic heritage that deserves to be revisited to prepare for the future.
Thank you for these passionate discussions!
The ISVV is conducting extensive research into the resilience of grape varieties and rootstocks in the face of climate change. Essential work for the future of our vineyards.
