On Wednesday, we took some time out

Took time with the team to enjoy a little barbecue and taste a dozen unusual cuvées along the way, including 6 Petnats. An opportunity to benchmark our Gaz’bonne and consider the adjustments to make for our 2022 harvest.
It was important to take the time to thank the team for all the work accomplished over the past few months. We certainly haven't been short of projects, in addition to the seasonal vineyard tasks that are particularly demanding at this time of year.
This year, we have done substantial trellising and stake repair work. We top-grafted one hectare of rootstocks with forgotten grape varieties, we are planting one hectare of rootstocks on Monday, our new plantings require rigorous monitoring…
In short, we haven't spared any effort.
Thank you to both Brunos, to Aurélien, Kevin, Florian, Clément, Charles, Jeremy, Damien. Not forgetting Agnes on the administrative side (never simple at Cazebonne), Sophie for vineyard monitoring, and Nicolas for the invaluable advice he provides in biodynamics and in the cellar.
Lastly, let us not forget our service providers Fredy from Vignerons du 33 and Vincent from Preistavigne.
