We are not hiding our delight

Being a winegrower is a true path of the cross. For seven years now, not a single year without a weather incident. Yet we try to stay the course, not to lose heart. I have a wonderful team showing their selflessness once again to keep up with the relentless pace dictated by the weather. Mildew is here, everywhere. So when Pierre Citerne from La Revue du Vin de France pays us the compliment of describing what we do as "wines of pure pleasure", nothing can touch us. Yes, we make wine to bring you pleasure, to bring ourselves pleasure. Bottles that make you want to pour another glass, fuss-free, delicious, accessible, vibrant bottles—to use a fashionable word. Thank you; it gives us the energy to head back out and treat with our good old Bordeaux mixture against this bloody mildew.
