When bottling, there are two possible strategies: 2 operations or 4 operations

In the first case, we simply bottle and cork. The advantage, if you don't wish to sell straight away, is that it avoids tying up capital in boxes and labels. And in the winery, it takes up less space, as the pallet boxes can be stacked on top of each other. In the case of 4 operations, all the steps are carried out in one go. In a few days' time, we will be carrying out the final two operations on bottles that were filled two years ago. The downside was that these boxes hadn't been covered properly, so we had to dust the bottles down, one by one. But at least we shouldn't run out of stock before the festive season!
