26 September 2019
Yesterday, we walked the plots with David and Nicolas to taste the grapes and decide on the upcoming harvest dates

The Merlot is nicely ripe, so on Friday we should harvest what remains.
As for the Cabernet Franc, it is ripe but in excellent sanitary condition, so we are going to let the weekend pass. For the Cabernet Sauvignon, we will wait as long as possible to push ripeness further. Some already taste very good, others are still green, even if the potential alcohol is already there. We will see how far the weather allows us to push: 10 October, 15 October?
To be continued.
