A downy mildew year
It is hitting the bunches. Until now, we had only seen it on Merlot bunches in the most vulnerable plots.
We have just spotted some on Cabernet Sauvignon.
Not good at all. We are redoubling our vigilance. We are treating again tomorrow morning, then Thursday or Friday depending on the weather.
Then the following Monday if needed.
We must keep the situation under control, especially on the vines that were hit by hail.
