Blanc Auba, a forgotten white grape variety from Bordeaux, which was notably found on the hillsides of the right bank of the Garonne, particularly around Sainte-Croix-du-Mont

It is one of the white grape varieties we have replanted at Cazebonne.
This engraving is taken from the masterly ampelography by Pierre Viala (1859–1936), General Inspector of Viticulture, and Victor Vermorel (1848–1927), industrialist, who served as general secretary.
This ampelography was published between 1901 and 1910. They gathered eighty-five other contributors around them, including A. Bacon, A. Barbier and L. Belle for the writing, and J. B. Drouot, Henri Gillet, Alexis Kreÿder and Jules Troncy for the illustrations.
