Fascinating interview in La RVF with Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, the architect of cuvée Cristal at Roederer

Interesting to see how a great house evolves and challenges itself, both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
He puts forward a proposal that strikes us as full of common sense: giving every winegrower the freedom to experiment as they wish on 5 to 10% of their plots.
At a time when the Bordeaux appellation is introducing exotic grape varieties into its specifications, it also seems to us more than urgent to unleash the creative energy of the winegrower. The solutions will come from them. May the INAO hear us!
