Flowering and its incomparable scent are not far off

Here, a photo taken of a cluster of sauvignon gris. We are ahead of schedule, very far ahead. During flowering, coulure is feared on sensitive grape varieties, particularly Merlot. Coulure occurs when the fertilisation of the flower could not take place properly. To avoid this coulure, the rain will need to stop and downy mildew must not join the fray. A challenging vintage is getting underway. But then, we are hardly used to easy vintages these days...
