In 2017, for our first vintage of Entre amis red, I put Grand Vin de Bordeaux on the label

Out of reflex, without thinking, just to do like everyone else. And then, I wondered: why Grand vin? Ultimately a pretentious claim, of no real value to our customers. To describe what our modest cuvée Entre amis is, from now on we will state: un Bordeaux grave bon. Our Grand vin will continue to carry the designation Grand vin de Bordeaux, whilst our single-vineyard cuvées will be Bordeaux de Lieu. We tend to take ourselves a little too seriously, sometimes, in the wine world.
