Let us continue our presentation of the forgotten grape varieties of Bordeaux
Castets was discovered around 1870 by Mr Nicouleau near Saint-Macaire. It almost disappeared in France.
Today, it is found as an accessory grape variety in Rioja under the name Maturana.
