Saint-Macaire is a magnificent Bordeaux grape variety, unjustly forgotten

It has an unfortunate tendency to overproduce with large bunches. Ripeness was not always achieved, which no doubt explains its exclusion from the AOC in 1953.
We will be keen to offer you a beautifully ripe Saint-Macaire wine soon, and it should be very interesting.
Thank you to Loic Pasquet for tracking down this work. We don't have it in our library.
