The harvest is drawing to a close

Next week, we will just have the late-ripening grape varieties left to bring in: Mancin, Petit Verdot, Carménère…
Today, it was the turn of the Saint-Macaire, which we were able to bring to optimal ripeness this year. Can't wait to taste it after vinification to rediscover its characteristic notes of raspberry and cocoa. Still with that hint of freshness.
The vintage continues to be lean in quantity but promising in quality.
To be continued…
