This bud did not survive last Thursday's frost
Fortunately, the damage here is not very extensive to date (perhaps a 15% loss of buds at this stage, and we had 10 to 15% of buds at this stage in our parcels).
We won't be sleeping well next week. The battle against the frost promises to be tense! Especially as rain is forecast for Monday, and moisture does not mix well with frost.
