Winegrower Jean-Baptiste Duquesne, target of online attacks after «Complément d’enquête»: ‘The wine world is very corporatist’

The report on «Complément d’enquête», investigating wine scams, has sparked fierce reactions. Jean-Baptiste Duquesne, who contributed to the investigation by exposing the medal scam, has received insults on social media. He explained to Libération that he acted to call out the ‘corporatist’ nature of the wine world, despite the risks.
