A sad sight: this field of datura in the middle of our planting of forgotten grape varieties (bouchalès on this plot)
We didn't have time to tend to this plot this summer, and the datura have gone to seed. We will have to pull them up and burn them to prevent them from taking over next year.
Datura is a plant that is deadly to humans. It often appears where maize has been planted. And indeed, maize was grown on this plot a few years ago.
