Pruning has begun
A mammoth task gets underway. We will have to prune over 130,000 vines, each requiring about a dozen cuts of the secateurs.
Pruning demands a great deal of concentration. For each vine, one must choose the best pruning strategy: depending on the vine's vigour and the crop load to be left, respecting the sap flow, and anticipating the pruning that will be applied to the vine the following year.
