Saint-Macaire is ripening slowly but surely
The berries are already highly aromatic, still with the lovely freshness that characterises this grape variety. Unfortunately, our harvest will be very small. This year revealed its vulnerability to frost. Early budburst and secondary buds that bear no fruit. The outcome: just one bunch per vine to harvest.
