Sixth treatment of the year this morning since 6 am

400g of copper per hectare (Bordeaux mixture and copper hydroxide), 3kg of sulphur, herbal teas (horsetail, comfrey...). We are treating ahead of the rain forecast for the end of the week. For now, we are managing to contain downy mildew and black rot, but the pressure is definitely there. We will have to remain vigilant right to the end. Flowering is around 80% complete, remarkably even this year across all grape varieties. The late-ripening parcels and Cabernet Sauvignon vines still need to finish flowering. Everything is progressing well on that front. Yesterday's storms spared us. Just a few drops, and all the better for it.
