This time of year is ideal for visiting old plots in search of grape varieties still present in our Gironde vineyards
On Tuesday, we visited a plot from 1880 and one from 1929. Mostly old Sémillon vines (very tasty indeed), but also a few unidentified vines (currently being identified).
Old vines can sometimes reveal real treasures.
