This weekend, we are top-grafting

Especially the magnificent Mancin, Saint-Macaire, Pardotte and Carménère! All our vines are now planted as rootstocks with in situ top-grafting. This allows the rootstock to establish deeper roots before grafting. We have to wait 3 years, but in the meantime, it has allowed us to vinify these historic grape varieties and refine our choices. We are continuing our work to revive all of Bordeaux's forgotten grape varieties. Within two years, we will have more than 60 varieties on the estate. A colossal task to better prepare for the future!
