13 July 2018
Today, we planted two types of vines: potted vines (on the right) and rooted vines (on the left)

In both cases, the goal will be to develop shoots that will then need to lignify.
This will help prepare the winter pruning for these young vines.
We will have to be very vigilant in this heat, and if it doesn’t rain, we will need to water them, perhaps even every three days.
With the first rains, we will also need to apply a copper treatment to prevent any downy mildew infection, which could be extremely damaging to these young vines.
