Vine shoot shredding

We do not remove the shoots, nor do we burn them. They provide organic matter to the soil. Very often, the winegrower removes the shoots from the plot out of fear of trunk disease contamination. We no longer do this, considering that our soils are now alive enough to break down the wood quickly and combat these diseases.
