Here we are tasting Mancin at David Barrault's (Tire Pé). Grapes that taste superb, great tension, racy, almost wild tannins. We are on very limestone-rich terroirs here, however. We shall have to see what it delivers on our Graves. To that end, we plan to taste this grape variety very soon at Loic Pasquet's at Liber Pater. In any case, we are completely reassured about the potential of this grape variety. We are going to replant some and certainly top-graft some so that we can vinify it sooner.
