We have a touch of excoriosis on the Cabernet Sauvignon this year

It is a fungal vine disease caused by the fungus Phomopsis viticola. It appears as lesions on the vine canes a few weeks after budburst.
It is not a very serious disease, although it is still best to prevent it from spreading through the parcel. A few sulphur treatments help to clear it up.
