At sunset, applying biodynamic preparation 500, horn manure
We will continue to apply 500 and Maria Thun throughout August. We are avoiding 501 (horn silica) for now, given the heat and sunshine the vines have experienced in recent weeks. We shall see whether the ripening of the Cabernet Sauvignon in September calls for any silica applications.
