The day is set to be a busy one

We need to get going, as rain is forecast for tomorrow and Friday. We are going to harvest Saint-Macaire, Jurançon Noir, Mérille, Malbec, Béquignol… We will leave the Cabernets and other Verdots, Mancin and Carménère aside for a few more days. This promises some lovely bottles and great surprises in store. It is a vintage where the juices offer interesting acidities. A vintage of balance after the more exuberant 2022 and 2020, and bearing no comparison to 2021, when achieving ripeness had proved more challenging.
