Today, let's get acquainted with Bouchalès, a grape variety once widely planted in Gironde, in the Blayais, in the palus, but also in South Gironde

We tasted a magnificent Bouchalès at Château de la Veille Chapelle from pre-phylloxera vines, proving, if proof were needed, its presence in Gironde during the 19th century.
