We prepared a cold horsetail decoction

We have prepared a cold horsetail decoction. We will dynamise it on Friday with some Maria Thun preparation for spraying at the end of the day. Horsetail indeed helps to slow down fungal activity. We are thinking in particular of downy mildew, that formidable enemy of the vine. The Maria Thun preparation will help stimulate bacterial life in the soil. We should also carry out our first copper treatment next week with a moderate dose. The idea is to curb the development of mildew before it starts. Treatments against downy mildew only work if you anticipate its development. Once it has developed and the spores have spread, it is unfortunately often too late.
